The Vinny archive.

His happy place.

For those who don’t know my backstory, Vincent Knakal was my mentor and closest friend for over a decade, a photographer based in CA shooting every concept you can think of, architecture, portraiture, food, and while most of his work will live forever in the pages of the magazine Ranch and Coast (A luxury-lifestyle magazine from San Diego) some of his other work won’t, so I made the pledge to keep his desert racing portfolio alive for as long as I can.

This collection of photos are hand picked by me directly from his archive which I’m the guardian of, I’ll be curating some of his work in order to publish stories that I know Vinny would like to share, never-seen photographs, behind the scenes moments… I was personally involved in some, others where inspirational during my early years, it’s all about keeping his legacy alive.

My life wouldn't be what it is if it wasn’t for Vinny. Simple as that.
